Giant and Val di Sole Bikeland go together into the new season

20 aprile 2022 - 13:16

The Taiwanese company will be the new Bike Partner of Val di Sole and its cycling events: from the UCI World Cup rounds of Mountain Bike and Cyclo-cross to the Val di Sole BikeFest and the IMBA Europe Summit

The popular cycling destination Val di Sole Bikeland (Trentino, Northern Italy) announces a new strategic sponsorship and partnership with the international bike manufacturer Giant. The Taiwanese company will support Val di Sole in view of an upcoming eventful summer season.

Giant will be the new Official Sponsor and Bike Partner of Val di Sole Bikeland, the popular Italian destination that will host international cycling events.

Val di Sole’s new official bike will take the center stage both in the projects dedicated to the Bike product and in the cycling summer season characterized by many international events. The IMBA Europe Summit (June 2-4) opens the summer in Val di Sole, followed by the first edition of the Val di Sole BikeFest and the appointment with the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup “The Grand Finale” (September 2-4).

In addition, in the winter season, Val di Sole will host the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup stage on the snow for the second year in a row, to be held in Vermiglio on December 17th.

A DESTINATION ON THE RISE
In the last 15 years, Val di Sole became the Mountain Bike Italian capital hosting three editions of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships (2008, 2016, 2021), whilst the fourth edition is scheduled for the 2026 season.

In 2021, Les Gets (France) will organize the MTB Worlds, but the Val di Sole is preparing for an eventful summer season, starting from the IMBA Europe Summit, Val di Sole BikeFest, and the Grand Finale of the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup

In addition, in the 2021 season, Val di Sole opened to the top-level cyclo-cross welcoming the World Cup in a unique context in Vermiglio. The snow is the singular feature of an engaging event, scheduled from December 17th in San Leonardo’s lakes.

It is no coincidence that Val di Sole was awarded the Bike Region title from the International Cycling Union. This award represents a reward for the activity of this territory in the World MTB and an incentive to continue this trend to write a better future together with Giant.

“We are proud to welcome a partner such as Giant in our family”, said the Val di Sole Tourism Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole Director Fabio Sacco. – “Giant is one of the top brands in the international cycling, that meets an iconic MTB destination. Giant showed to believe in our project, sharing our philosophy. We are ready to start fruitful and long-lasting cooperation".

GIANT, A DESTINY WRITTEN IN THE  NAME
For 50 years (its foundation dates back to 1972), Giant is a symbol of quality, innovation and wins, both in the road cycling and the Mountain Bike.

Giant’s destiny is written in its name. The Taiwanese company has become a colossus pursuing an important goal: to unlock the potential of the cyclists, from the champions to the amateurs.

The results are not everything in Giant’s success. The experience of the rider takes the center stage in Giant’s philosophy, the adrenaline that draws cyclists to ride without limits.

This idea generates the Giant jewels, a mix of studies, innovation and an excellent quality-price ratio appreciated by MTB fans but not only. This set of values links the Asian brand to Val di Sole Bikeland.

“For Giant, it’s an honor to cooperate with Val di Sole Bikeland, the most important MTB destination in Italy”, said Giant Italia’s Sales and Marketing Manager Claudio Cannizzaro. – “This partnership will generate many benefits for this amazing sport, from the bikers who face the bikepark tracks to the families who look for outdoor recreation on the cycle paths. We care for this project and we hope to achieve good results and positive feedback from the MTB supporters”.
