An open-air gym, where you can practice every bike speciality: Val di Sole Bikeland has so much to offer and now sees the addition of the new Alpine Gravel.
Val di Sole is, in fact, Italy's top Gravel destination and its main tracks offer the best to gravel enthusiasts.
As the name suggests, this is no classic gravel: we have combined the valley with the forests and the Alps, creating trails with views that you will find hard to forget.
Not much asphalt and lots of gravel or Alpine terrain, all between 650 and 2200 metres a.s.l. (there's a very good reason we called it ALPINE GRAVEL). It will be more technical, better performing and more spectacular than the trails you are used to.
A combination of five factors makes the trails truly unique, in fact:
- big elevation loss (start at 970 m D+);
- considerable gradient (with stretches up to 21%)
- alpine terrain that may be rough or rocky);
- portage (it's not Alpine Gravel if you don't have to get off at least once)
- technical descents (on steep and Alpine terrain).
These routes obviously require a gravel bike with min. 38 mm tyres.
Once on the sadle, all you have to do is discover Val di Sole Bikeland.
This is a must-try experience, on forest roads and perfectly rideable paths, ideal terrain for fans of one of today’s most popular bike specialities.
