Eurosport and HBO Max across Europe, 17 national broadcasters worldwide: Elite Short Track, Downhill and Cross-country live from Daolasa di Commezzadura, August 27th-30th
With two weeks to go until the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, anticipation is building in Val di Sole for the Italian event scheduled in Daolasa di Commezzadura, Trentino, from August 26 to 30. The World Champs in Val di Sole-Trentino marks the start of a memorable three weeks for Trentino, which will also host the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships in Primiero-San Martino di Castrozza, on September 12-13.
Once again, the images of Trentino will travel the world on the screens of cycling lovers. The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Val di Sole will be broadcast in all five continents thanks to the wide-ranging TV coverage, produced by Gravity Media Italy, Nitida Immagine, and Movicom.
Gravity Media Italy, a leading operator in broadcast and live production technology, will oversee the direction and technical production. This will include approximately 30 kilometres of cabling, combining fibre-optic infrastructure and signal conversion systems. Nitida Immagine will supply the professional production crew, while Movicom will provide specialist cameras, including drones and a cable camera to cover the Daolasa Arena section.
Eurosport and HBO Max will carry the Elite Short Track (Thursday, August 27th: women 17:45, men 18:30 CEST), the Elite Downhill finals (Saturday, August 29th: women 13:20, men 15:00 CEST) and the Elite Cross-country races (Sunday, August 30th: women 13:00, men 15:15 CEST) across Europe. TNT Sports and Discovery+ will provide coverage in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
National broadcasters will also provide extensive coverage of the event, including VRT and RTBF in Belgium, Czech TV in the Czech Republic, TV2 in Denmark, MTV in Hungary, Rai in Italy, NOS in the Netherlands, RTV in Slovakia and Slovenia, TVE in Spain, the BBC in the United Kingdom, FloSports in Canada and the United States, Sky in New Zealand, SuperSport in South Africa, DirecTV across Latin America, Stan in Australia, and Astro in Malaysia.
