Five out of five — another masterpiece capped off with a dominant final lap: Christopher Blevins appears unstoppable in the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series 2025. The American rider, who made history in Val di Sole back in 2021 by becoming the first-ever Short Track World Champion, returned to the scene of his breakthrough to once again assert his supremacy.
Riding a controlled race for most of the event, the Specialized Factory Team rider unleashed his full power on the final lap, dropping his rivals and soloing to victory. Behind him came his teammate and current XCC World Champion Victor Koretzky, while third place went to Germany’s Luca Schwarzbauer (Canyon CLLCTV). Known for setting a blistering pace early on, Schwarzbauer once again led the opening stages, but even his short track prowess couldn’t match Blevins’ explosive finish.
In the U23 category, Switzerland’s Finn Treudler (Cube Factory) extended his reign with a commanding win in the Val di Sole Short Track. Leading from start to finish, he crossed the line ahead of Dutch rider Rens Teunissen (KMC Ridley) and Germany’s Paul Schehl (Lexware).
