On the border between the provinces of Trento and Bolzano, near Passo Rabbi, which connects Val di Rabbi and Val d'Ultimo, stands the Rifugio Stella Alpina al Lago Corvo, a stone and wood building constructed in 1952 in a place where livestock traditionally passed through. A little further up are the spectacular Lake Corvo and other glacial lakes. In these blue waters (which are a touch of color in the harsh mountain environment surrounding them) lives the arctic char, while the cliffs surrounding the body of water are the habitat of the chamois.
STRONG POINT
From the refuge, the magnificent Corvo lakes, fascinating in all seasons, can be reached with just a few minutes' walk.
