SCOTT, one of the world’s most iconic bike brands and home to legend Nino Schurter, becomes the official bike of Val di Sole for the next two seasons, also supporting the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series (June 20–22, 2025) and the 2026 World Championships
When it comes to Mountain Biking at the highest level, SCOTT Sports needs no introduction. Founded in 1958 and active in the off-road segment since 1986, the Swiss powerhouse is the new Bike Partner of Val di Sole Bikeland, a longtime fixture for major international off-road events and an increasingly popular destination for bikers of all disciplines and levels.
This exciting partnership will span the next two seasons (2025 and 2026), during which Val di Sole will once again host the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series (June 20–22, 2025), while in 2026, the Bike Park in Daolasa di Commezzadura will welcome the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships for the fourth time in its history, from August 26–30.
The SCOTT–Val di Sole connection is a strategic partnership rooted in nearly two decades of history. SCOTT’s most iconic athlete, Nino Schurter, has found peak inspiration here, earning nine victories and two rainbow jerseys — in 2008 (U23 category) and 2021 (Elite).
THE ITALIAN CAPITAL OF MOUNTAIN BIKING
Over the last twenty years, Val di Sole Bikeland has become the Italian capital of Mountain Biking in all its forms, hosting three editions of the World Championships (2008, 2016, 2021), with the fourth already scheduled for August 2026. The Trentino destination is also a permanent fixture in the calendar of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, the premier global Mountain Bike circuit organized by Warner Bros Discovery Sports under the UCI.
Val di Sole is a benchmark for riders of every style and level, boasting two top-tier bike parks. Daolasa di Commezzadura is the crown jewel for gravity lovers chasing technical challenges — especially on the legendary Black Snake course. Meanwhile, the Pontedilegno-Tonale Bike Park is Trentino’s first family-friendly park, offering flowing, accessible trails perfect even for young riders.
Another standout is Alpine Gravel, featuring demanding routes that wind through the majestic peaks of the Alps.
It’s no surprise that Val di Sole has earned the title of UCI Bike Region — a recognition of past achievements and a springboard toward an even brighter future, now with SCOTT as a key partner.
"We’re thrilled to partner with a global brand like SCOTT,” said Fabio Sacco, Director of APT Val di Sole and Val di Sole Grandi Eventi. “They fully share our values of innovation, performance, and environmental respect. We’re ready to build a strong, lasting collaboration together."

In recent years, the brand has dominated the Mountain Bike scene through stars like Nino Schurter, Kate Courtney, and Filippo Colombo, all riding the legendary SCOTT Spark RC — the most successful Cross Country bike of all time.
"We’re excited to strengthen our presence in an iconic destination like Val di Sole — not just a world-class competition venue, but also a strategic partner for the long-term development of sustainable bike tourism,” said Ivano Camozzi, Brand Manager of SCOTT Sports. “This partnership perfectly embodies SCOTT’s values and vision.”
