The Val di Sole Bikeland cross-country race has surpassed the previous record set by Nové Město na Moravě, reaching 15 million views across Warner Bros. Discovery platforms and channels (HBO Max, Discovery+, Eurosport and TNT Sports). Fabio Sacco, Director of Val di Sole Tourism Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole, commented: “This result fills us with pride.”

Val di Sole Bikeland has established itself as one of the “places to be” for international mountain biking. Its story spans nearly two decades, and another chapter will be added in just over a year when the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships return to Daolasa di Commezzadura in Trentino from August 26th–30th, 2026. That legacy is matched by present-day success: in June 2025, Val di Sole hosted the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, delivering a record-breaking edition.

With nearly 15 million cumulative views, the 2025 Val di Sole cross-country race became the most-watched event in the history of the world’s premier mountain-biking series in the Warner Bros. Discovery era — an unprecedented global result, up 15.4% on the previous record set at Nové Město na Moravě in 2023, and one that shone a spotlight on Trentino and Val di Sole as a true paradise for outdoor sport and mountain biking.

Official data from Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) confirm Val di Sole’s record-breaking round. Coverage ran across WBD’s linear channels and streaming platforms (HBO Max, Eurosport, Discovery+ and TNT Sports), with additional broadcasters carrying the event worldwide, including Italy’s national broadcaster RAI.

“This achievement fills us with pride,” said Fabio Sacco, Director of Val di Sole Tourism Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole. “Val di Sole is not just an extraordinary sporting destination — it’s a story of passion, expertise and international vision. Being the most-watched round in the world for MTB is the best recognition of all the work we have put in over the years. It’s the result of strong organization, promotion, communication and media engagement, which this year also brought over 20,000 fans trackside in Daolasa. It’s the perfect springboard towards the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.”
The record-setting WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series round in Val di Sole is further reflected in digital performance: nearly 14 million online views, and more than 6.5 million cumulative views across Val di Sole Bikeland’s Instagram and Facebook channels.

This resounding success once again cements the event’s status as a globally iconic, unmissable classic in the world of mountain biking.
