The Vedretta de la Mare, the Cime del Cevedale, the Palon de la Mare and finally the Viòz: these are the peaks that can be admired from the Rifugio Larcher to the Cevedale.
The Larcher al Cevedale Refuge is located in Val Venezia, on a rocky slope that offers a privileged point of view to observe the mountains of the Stelvio National Park. It was built in 1882 and named after the famous senator Guido Larcher who was president of the sat for seventeen years between 1902 and 1917. Over the years, the Refuge has been modernised several times and in the summer of 2009 it was completely renovated. The ground floor has also been renovated and is equipped with a fully lined wooden room in the classic mountain style. The cuisine is curated by the Casanova family who offers typical mountain dishes such as polenta, canederli, strangolapreti, barley soup, strudel and all the traditional dishes of Trentino and Solandra.
