At the foot of the Presanella and one step from heaven.
A refuge, a small church and - not far away - a blue pond that reflects the imposing profile of Presanella, the highest peak in Trentino with an altitude of 3,558 metres. Here is the prize for those who climb along the path that leads from the Pozzi Alti fort to the Stavel "F. Denza", built by sat at the end of the 19th century. From 20 June to 20 September, the opening period, after the excursions you can warm up and find a welcome at the Rifugio Denza both to sleep and to taste the dishes of the kitchen. The menu offers traditional dishes cooked with love and passion such as canederli, cereal soups, strangolapreti, sausages that can be enjoyed while Mirco, the manager of the refuge, plays the "reta" (traditional diatonic organ). A familiar and relaxed atmosphere, the view of the Presanella and the dishes of the Trentino culinary tradition together offer unique moments.
